Project type

Date

Location

“Everything eventually faces destruction. Everything eventually disappears.”
Paris, France — Inspired by the anime and novel Fuyumi Ono
‘s Shiki (屍鬼; “Corpse Demon” or “Death Spirit”)
Through philosophical reconstruction, this chapter confronts the moment where survival becomes rebellion. SHIKI explores the collision between humanity and an invasive force...a metaphor for modern fashion itself: predatory, cyclical, and sustained by consumption rather than creation.
Here, the plague is not external, but systemic.
The revenants are no longer monsters, but mirrors: figures condemned simply for existing outside accepted norms.
They are SHIKI.
